A great deal of time and years of ad-hoc use have been the foundation for this specification. Between v4.0, v4.1 and this version, the QSet spec was abstracted as the essential implementation, the Core specification was established and several ad-hoc solutions have been incorporated to provide the Full spec allowing for Text-Groups as linked references in single settings lines, as well as the CRUD concept as a light flat-file database.
From here it is expected that a community can grow around the implementation and the use of SET files by members of that community will identify issues, simplifications and new implementations that may be included in the protocol.
